Mats Helander's Weblog

Welcome to my new weblog

Which is not here

This will be the last post in this old blog section (accessible via the "Old Weblog" item in the left menu).

Instead I will now be blogging in Word Press here.

Why the move? And why the hell are all the old comments gone ? Short answer: Because I am a complete idiot who shouldn't be trusted with dangerous and sophisticated stuff like technology. But you can read all about it in the first post of my new blog.

Over and out.

/Mats

Evolving Evolvability

Agile is adaptive

Dan North has just blogged about a topic that interests me a lot, namely evolution and its relationship with software development.

Dan argues, and I agree with him, that since agile methodologies help the organization respond better to change, increasing its overall adaptivness, there is a close correspondance to the concept of "Evolving Evolvability" as presented by R Dawkins. A must read.
